HONDA-EC4000 GENERATOR 7.5HP
The Honda EC4000 is a single-phase AC 115/230V portable generator with 3.6 kVA of maximum power and 3.4 kVA of rated power and 50 Hz of rated frequency. The EC4000 generator is available with 115/230 V rated voltage (B type) or 230 V only (F, GV, IT types).
The Honda EC4000 generator uses single-cylinder (inclined by 25°) Honda GX270 gasoline engine (270 cc; 16.5 cu.in.). The engine has an overhead valve (OHV) design. The GX240 uses a recoil starter, horizontal carburetor with butterfly valve and transistorized magneto ignition. Cylinder bore and the piston stroke are 77.0 mm (3.0 in) and 58.0 mm (2.3 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.2:1.
The GX270 produced 7.5 HP (6.7 kW) at 3600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 19.5 Nm (1.95 kg·m, 14 ft·lb) of torque.
